A Social Gathering is an informal user generated event for those interested in social entrepreneurship to get together to discuss and debate social enterprise, share ideas and meet new people.

 

 

 A Social Gathering is open to anyone with an interest in Social Enterprise. Students, educators, successful and established social entrepreneurs, new and emerging social entrepreneurs, community groups, charities, non-profit organisations and members of the local business community. 
  • To meet and connect with social entrepreneurs   
  • To find out more about social entrepreneurship
  • To gain advice, support and inspiration from other entrepreneurs 
  • To benefit from partnership and collaboration opportunities
  • To promote your organisation
  • To pass on your experience to new start-ups

Event format

The event will begin with a themed talk on the subject of social entrepreneurship and will follow with the opportunity for others to sign up to share their story and showcase their social enterprise or talk about some of the issues that are important to them.

We hope for this to be the first of a regular series of informal networking events, with each session featuring a themed talk looking at the social enterprise sector, what we do and why it’s important and will offer the opportunity to individuals and organisations to have their say.

This will be an informal drop in event with tea, coffee, buns and friendly conversation available throughout.
